I love animals, and I love detail.

I try and convey the personalities of the animals I draw.

My art heroes are Marianne North (Victorian Lady Painter/Explorer), illustrators Dr. Suess, Heath Robinson, Edmund Dulac, Kit Williams, and Victoriana generally.

I completed an MA in Children's Book Illustration and worked for many years as an illustrator - some examples of my previous work are below.

I live in Norfolk with my family and two scruffy terriers.
