This image was created for the wonderful charity Explorers Against Extinction. The Zulu has a tiny range with only two known colonies in the Limpopo province South Africa.
I've never been, but the Elephant's Child lived on the banks of the "Great, grey-green, greasy Limpopo River, all set about with fever-trees". Here, he had an unfortunate encounter with a crocodile that led to the species getting its famous trunk, according to Rudyard Kipling.
